Health
The school has a Sick Bay and
Casualty Room, supervised by trained
Office Staff. If your child is sick in
the morning, please keep him/her at
home as this is a limited facility. Please
remember it is
important that we
have up to date emergency contact
numbers at all times. Our school has a
Dental Clinic which operates on a part-time
basis. Dental Therapist, Glenys
Calder, will advise you via our School
Newsletters when she is available
(Phone 09 630 0592).
The Area Health Board provides a
Public Health Nurse who visits the
school on a fortnightly basis. Referrals
for students to see Nurse Sue is
through the Year 7 or Year 8 dean.
Students are tested at school for
hearing and vision and immunised
against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping
cough and polio at mid year (Year 7
students only).
