Homework
Homework is set regularly, with an upper
limit of thirty minutes per night, Monday
to Thursday, inclusive.
If your child is
unable to do this work, a short note
of explanation would be appreciated.
Students are not expected to work more
than the half hour, assuming that the
child is “on task” for that time.
It helps
if parents encourage their children to
do assigned homework and support the
tasks done at home in a positive way.
We
value this home/school co-operation, and
also appreciate that many children will
want to spend more than half an hour on homework. We recognise that this is a matter for parental discretion.
