Uniforms
Standards of Dress
Parents are requested to help the school by ensuring
the following rules are conformed to:
- Culottes or tunics should sit at knee length
- Winter shirts are to be worn tucked in when travelling to and from school (boys)
- Correct footwear to be worn in the street
- Knee-length socks should be pulled up to the knee
- No jewelry, other than plain studs for pierced ears (safety reasons)
- Watches may be worn
- Long hair should be worn held off the face by ribbons or clips
- Hairclips/ribbons may be worn to match uniform colours of blue or white
- All clothing must be named clearly
If, for any reason, a child will not be wearing regulation uniform items, a written note from a parent should be shown to the classroom teacher first then signed by the Dean for approval. Such approval will be given for a short duration and the note must be carried by the child at all times.
SunHats
In line with many other schools the Board has
instituted a policy requiring cricket style sun hats to
be worn as part of our school uniform at lunchtime
during Terms 1 and 4. Hats are also a compulsory
item of the school uniform for outdoor events such
as School Athletics Day.

Children must wear the current school uniform at
all times. Uniforms are available from the Uniform
Shop situated within the school premises (see
school map at back of prospectus).
Shop Hours
Shop hours during school term are:
- Monday from 3.00 – 4.00pm
- Thursday from 6.00 – 7.00p
The shop is also open on our enrolment evenings and has extended hours in January and at uniform change over times. These hours will be advertised in the school newsletter.
Physical Education Gear for Boys and Girls
- Navy and royal blue school PE shorts
- Royal blue school PE T-shirt
- Sports shoes (optional)
- Bathing suit suitable for swimming lessons
- School bathing cap (compulsory)
Optional Extra - Winter Uniform
- Scarves in school colours (navy & white).
- Waterproof taslon jackets in school colours (for
outside wear).
NB: THE NAVY WOOLLEN JERSEY WITH MONOGRAM, REGULATION ROYAL BLUE MONOGRAMMED SWEATSHIRT OR WATERPROOF TASLON JACKET, MAY BE WORN WITH EITHER SUMMER OR WINTER UNIFORM FOR BOYS AND GIRLS.
